The signing of 2 more concession regarding block REC-T-152 and REC-T-180, awarded by the company Tarmar Energia e Participações Ldta and signed by affiliate company Recôncavo Energia Ltda was held on April 04, 2016.
ANP has promoted on February 03, 2016 and signing of 3 more concessions regarding 3 block POT-T-741, awarded to the company UTC Exploração e Produção, and the blocks POT-T-743 and POT-T-744 awarded to the consortium of companies UTC Exploração e Produção S.A. and Phoenix Empreendimentos Ltda.
ANP promoted on January 25, 2016 the signing of 4 more concessions concerning blocks REC-T-57, REC-T-62, T-REC-71 and REC-T-145, awarded by the consortium of companies Alvopetro e GDF Suez E&P Brasil.
Of the 37 blocks awarded in the 13th bidding round for exploration blocks, the ANP has promoted, on December 23, 2015, the signing of 25 concession contracts with 13 companies: Ouro Preto Óleo e Gás, Vipetro, BPMB Parnaíba, Parnaíba Participações, Parnaíba Gás Natural, GDF Suez E&P Brasil, Oil M&S, Petrosynergy, Tek Óleo e Gás, Geopark Brasil, Geopar-Geosol, Imetame and Queiroz Galvão.
Of the 12 remaining blocks, seven had the signature date extended until February 19, 2016, by decision of the Board of Directors of the ANP, as published in the DOU on December 21, 2015, and five had the date of award and homologation of the blocks postponed to February 04, 2016, according to the publication of December 10, 2015.
ANP communicates that it has extended the last stage of the schedule for signing of the concession contracts of the 13th Bidding round - exploration blocks, without prejudice to the existing schedule. See the change notice posted in the DOU on December 21, 2015.
Considering the possibility of changing the schedule, as set out in public notice (item 1.4), the signing of the concession contracts was extended until February 19, 2016.
The current schedule is still in force for companies that have delivered all the documentation in accordance with the rules of the bidding process. These companies will signed concession contracts on December 23, 2015.
The awarded bidders of the public offerings once qualified by the Special Committee pursuant to section 7 of the bidding round shall enter into concession agreements with the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) for exploration and production and oil and natural gas.
For execution of the concession agreements, the bidders shall comply with the requirements as per section 9 and the deadlines set out in Table 1 of the final tender protocol of bidding round, as below highlighted:
³ The ANNEX XXII with the pertaining information from the signatory business company of the concession agreement must be submitted within five (5) calendar days after the date of public offerings, as per section 9.1.1.
The required documents for execution of countersignatures of concession agreements are evidenced in table 15 of the final tender protocol and shall be presented in a single way, irrespective from how many blocks were acquired, in exception of the documents as detailed in the sections 126.96.36.199, 188.8.131.52, 9.1. 3, 9.1.4 and 9.1.5 (where applicable), which must be submitted for each contract to be signed.
As per section 9.2 of the final tender protocol, the awarded bidder may delegate the execution of the concession agreement to an affiliate corporate business company which has its headquarters and management in Brazil. Such affiliate which may receive the delegation shall submit documents for the execution of the concession as provided in sections 9.1.2, 9.1.3 and, if applicable, 9.1.4 and 9.1.5, and to obtain economic and financial and legal classification to the required level in order to sign the concession agreement or superior, and to prove all tax and labor proper compliance.
The affiliate as indicated to sign the contract which has not yet been established until the date of public offerings shall deliver the documents listed in sections 9.1 and 9.2.1, within the timeframe as defined in Table 16 as per the final tender protocol, as below highlighted:
